Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Award Assemblies

Our award assemblies are special occasions where we come together as a school community to recognise and celebrate the achievements and efforts of our students. These assemblies highlight excellence in academics, sports, creativity, and citizenship, encouraging students to strive for their best in all areas. By acknowledging hard work and positive contributions, our award assemblies inspire and motivate everyone to continue reaching their goals.

NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week is a special time at our school when we come together to celebrate and learn about the rich cultures, histories, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through engaging activities, stories, art, and performances, our students gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Australia's First Nations communities.

Sports Carnivals

Our school proudly hosts a range of sporting events and carnivals throughout the year, encouraging students to stay active, develop teamwork skills, and enjoy healthy competition. From our annual Sports Carnival to interschool competitions and friendly team matches, these events provide opportunities for all students to participate, challenge themselves, and celebrate their achievements. Sport plays an important role in building school spirit, promoting fitness, and fostering a strong, inclusive community for everyone.

Unleashing Personal Potential (UPP) Leadership Program

The Unleashing Personal Potential (UPP) program at our school is designed to empower students to discover and develop their unique strengths and talents. Through targeted workshops, mentoring, and personalised goal-setting, UPP supports students to build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills. This program encourages every student to reach their full potential, both academically and personally, preparing them for success now and in the future.

Performances, Concerts or School Productions

Our school’s performances, concerts, and productions are vibrant showcases of student creativity and talent. Whether through music, drama, dance, or multimedia presentations, these events provide students with the opportunity to build confidence, collaborate with peers, and share their passions with the school community. Each performance is a celebration of hard work and artistic expression, bringing everyone together to enjoy memorable and inspiring experiences.

Post School Pathway Programs

Our school offers a range of post-school pathway opportunities and programs designed to prepare students for their future careers and further education. These include opportunities like work experience placements, TAFE and VET courses, the Tafe YES program, Year 10 Careers Day, university visits, industry excursions, school-based apprenticeships, and additional elective classes starting from Year 8. Through these opportunities, students gain valuable hands-on skills, explore different career options, and connect with local industries, helping them make informed decisions about their pathways beyond school.
